Sagara Beach Resort

We checked into Sagara Beach Resort for our son’s wedding. Families from Vancouver, San Jose , New York , Mumbai, Gujurat attended our various function functions.To cater to such diverse , aged seniors needing wheel chairs was not easy task.The staff did it all with a smile.For our 2 week stay , 38 guests were served in various rooms, by front office staff, housekeeping and the restaurant team .Few names worthy of mention are as :Suhas S (General Manager): We met Suhas as GM of Sagara Beach Resort and checked out as friends for life . Full of energy and ever smiling gentleman.Praseeda (Reservation Manager): Guests lists of guests who checked in on different dates and times was not at all easy but Praseeda did it meticulously.Ajayan (Front Office Manager): Organising transport at short notice was a challenge but Ajayan went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.Aswathy (Accounts) The most toughest job where separating 38 rooms and room service bills and accommodation and attaching laundry bills along with transportation costs etc was done to perfection. Thank you Aswathy.Shimi: A smiling front office presence who always stands up to hear every guest and welcome each ’’’’Shyam Manning thru the night to morning did a great job of finding us the right driver to visit the Padmanabh Swami Temple . Networks well outside to achieve happy outcome for our guestsAmberlea our guests will remember a smiling front office presence who confidently communicated with our guests who didn’t understand MalayalamVivek Baburaj : My personal appreciation along with our wedding troupe’s experience made , Vivek the go to person 24/7. I remember during one of our events a last minute totally unexpected request ( a guest wanted to wear fresh flowers on her hairdo)from the family got done by Vivek by making calls to local florists and then quickly dashing to thier shop and delivering the flowers personally to us ! We are absolutely impressed ’’Amal completes the team that works together to make every guest feel Sagara is not just a hotel butMade us all feel it’s home away from home.Thank you Team Sagara ’’’’Each one of you went over and above to make my son’s wedding a grand success.

I stayed at Sagara Beach Resort, Kovalam and had a mixed experience.The location is excellent ’ the resort offers private access to the beach, and the sea view and surroundings are truly beautiful. The property is very large and scenic; however, because of its size and layout, it can be confusing to navigate and locate rooms or facilities.The staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but slightly small considering the price paid. One concern was housekeeping ’ daily room cleaning was not done unless requested. In most resorts I have stayed at, regular cleaning is part of standard service, so this was disappointing.The biggest drawback was the food. The breakfast included with the stay was below expectations, and overall dining quality needs improvement. Dinner dishes had excessive masala, which reduced the taste rather than enhancing it.Overall, it is a decent resort mainly because of its location and beach access. It’s a good place to stay if you prioritize views and surroundings, but be prepared to compromise on food and some services.’’’

Excellent located in picturesque surrounding just 2 minutes walk to the beach. The hospitality and courtesy extended by the hotel staff is par excellence. The property is well maintained. My rendezvous for next visit is going to be Sagara.

Amazing locationBreakfast truly rich and tummy filler .Rooms are okaish as i personally don't like interior. Kind of old one we felt,Plus point is 2 min walk to beach and light house.Staff was quiet good.Swimming pool was neat and clean.Over all good experience.
