I reserved a room on Booking.com for about ₹1,500, but upon arrival at the reception, they demanded around ₹2,100. They claimed there was a “site glitch” and that my reservation had been changed, insisting on charging me as a walk-in guest instead of honoring my original booking. How is this possible? I booked through Booking.com at a lower price, yet they charged me more.
