Hotel Florence

Nice hotel to stay at in Delhi, offering star-level amenities even in budget rooms. There is a conference hall suitable for small meetings. The rooms are clean and the room service is good.

The rooms are small. The windows are very dirty. All the snacks and everything is chargeable. They won't really give you extra pillows, or anything as such. The corridors and all are very noisy. These guys literally 'checked' the fire alarm in the day and laughed at it. The corridors are too noisy. When checked in at night, the receptionist was very rude. In the day, the other receptionist was nice. The food is not good at all. The breakfast had very limited options. And the restaurant staff was very rude. Highly reccomend ordering out. Though the housekeeping staff was nice and polite. The rooms are average. There ac takes hours to cool. The fans in the rooms are noisy. There was hot water in the tap 24/7 no matter what time of the day I bathed which was irritating in summer. The towels looked very used and dirty. The bedsheet and duvet had stains. There was no handle in the shower but a wire. The taps and all were kind of dirty, the washrooms weren't mainted as there were a lot of rusting and hard water stains. The location is okay if you come by car at night or early morning because otherwise the rickshaws and all won't really allow you to park. 3500 for two was like...maybe worth it-maybe not worth it. I would suggest you could also checkout more options. We were on the second floor and had to go upto third and then to fourth by stairs which was tiring. Me and brother had a pretty average experience, we were out most of the days, so I don't know but yeah the days we stayed in, these were the issues.

The rooms are small and the windows are quite dirty. Everything, including snacks, comes with an extra charge. They are reluctant to provide additional pillows or similar items. The corridors are very noisy. The staff casually tested the fire alarm during the day and laughed about it. When we checked in at night, the receptionist was rude, but the daytime receptionist was friendly. The food quality is poor, with very limited breakfast options, and the restaurant staff were unfriendly. I highly recommend ordering food from outside. However, the housekeeping staff were polite and nice. The rooms are average, the AC takes a long time to cool, and the fans are noisy. Hot water was always running from the tap, which was uncomfortable in summer. The towels appeared worn and dirty, and the bedsheets and duvet had stains. The shower lacked a proper handle, replaced by a wire. The taps and washrooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with rust and hard water stains. The location is okay if you arrive by car at night or early morning, as rickshaws make parking difficult otherwise. Paying 3500 for two people felt questionable in value. We stayed on the second floor but had to climb stairs to the third and fourth floors, which was tiring. My brother and I had an average experience overall. We were out most days, so I can't comment on everything, but these were the issues during our stay.
