⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) 👎 👎 👎 👎 WARNING - SCAM ALERT.. Avoid paying any Security Deposit or full rent upfront, or you risk losing your money. My rental experience was extremely frustrating. I stayed from June 18 to July 8. The location suited my work perfectly, which was the only good thing. Sadly, everything else—from maintenance to checkout—was terrible. 👎 Downsides 1. Checkout, refund, and communication This completely changed my view of the place. I paid for 22 nights in advance but left on the evening of the 20th day, two days early. After talking with the owner, she agreed to refund one day's rent (₹1,680), but I still haven't received it. She also kept the ₹5000 security deposit without returning it at checkout. I spent nearly a whole day calling and messaging before the money was finally sent. It's been 10 days since I left, and despite many reminders, I still haven't gotten an invoice or bill. Communication was even more disappointing. During my stay, replies became slower. After checkout, most messages were ignored, and when I called, I was asked, "Who's this?" even though we had been in contact the whole time. 2. 🐞 Bed bugs on the first night. I was first given Room 502 on the terrace. That night, I couldn't sleep due to itching. The next morning, I found bed bugs on the bed and blanket. When I told the owner, she initially suggested I might have brought them myself and said this never happened before. Only after I insisted firmly was I moved to Room 501. I had to move all my luggage alone without help. Ironically, the new room was better in almost every way, making me wonder why I wasn't given it initially. 3. Lack of privacy and poor soundproofing The caretaker's family lives just outside the terrace rooms. I respect that, but as a paying guest, I expected some privacy. Their early morning noise and conversations outside my window often disturbed my sleep. The walls and windows block sound poorly, and the curtains are so thin that daylight enters very early. Sleeping past 5–6 AM was nearly impossible. 4. Maintenance issues ignored The kitchen power sockets didn't work the whole time. I couldn't use the microwave even once. To use the mixer grinder, I had to carry it to another socket in the living area. I told the owner many times. Each time I was promised a fix, but nothing happened. 5. 🦟 Mosquitoes Every evening, mosquitoes were a problem. A Good Knight machine was provided but wasn't enough. 6. 💧 Drinking water After drinking the RO water for two days, I got a stomach upset and switched to bottled water, which was an unnecessary extra cost. 7. 🧹 Housekeeping During my nearly three-week stay, the room and bathroom were cleaned only about three times. I expected better housekeeping from a serviced apartment. Final thoughts Maintenance problems can occur anywhere, but how they are handled matters. Unfortunately, delayed refunds, an agreed refund still unpaid, constant follow-ups for basic requests, and no support after checkout overshadowed the good location. If you plan to stay here, I strongly suggest reconsidering. A good stay doesn't end at check-in—it also depends on how guests are treated at checkout.
