I had an extremely disappointing experience with Trebo Emora Grand.I made my reservation online through Booking.com and received a clear confirmation that my booking was confirmed. Naturally, I travelled assuming that the hotel would honour the confirmed reservation.However, when I called the hotel from the airport before arriving, the person at reception was extremely rude and simply told me that all online bookings were cancelled, the hotel was full, and I could not check in. There was no attempt to check my confirmed reservation properly, explain why a confirmed booking was being cancelled, offer an alternative, or provide any assistance whatsoever.I was already on the road with my family and two children and suddenly had to start searching for another hotel. This is exactly the situation a confirmed hotel reservation is supposed to prevent.What made the experience particularly unacceptable was not only the cancellation, but the attitude of the reception staff. There was absolutely no concern for the inconvenience being caused to a family arriving after travelling, despite the hotel having accepted the reservation and Booking.com having issued a confirmation.Fortunately, I managed to find Royal Ace near Manyata Tech Park, and the experience there was the complete opposite. They were welcoming, professional and extremely helpful, and effectively saved us from what could have been a very difficult evening.Based on my experience, I would be extremely cautious about relying on an online reservation at Trebo Emora Grand. A confirmed booking should mean something. If a hotel cannot honour a reservation, the minimum expectation is timely communication, a proper explanation and some effort to assist the guest ’ not a rude dismissal when the guest is already travelling to the property.

The worst part was the staff's attitude—no concern for the trouble caused, even though the hotel accepted the booking and Booking.com confirmed it. Luckily, I found Royal Ace near Manyata Tech Park, where the staff were welcoming, professional, and helpful, saving us from a tough night. From my experience, I would be very careful trusting an online reservation at Trebo Emora Grand. A confirmed booking should mean something, and if a hotel can't honor it, they should at least communicate promptly, explain properly, and try to assist—not rudely dismiss a guest already en route.
