Vivanta Ernakulam, Marine Drive

I have stayed at this property many times in the past , this time however I was disappointed.( 17-19 Aug stay ) .Right from reception , to Breakfast to checkout , there was no smile , no energy and no interest in serving a customer .Breakfast - Sad , on both days , staff are more concerned to handle foreign guest ( aditi devo Bhava ..fine ) , but I am also a corporate paying guest !! On both days , I was not seated , had to wait and then call ( few times ) to be seated , no one ever approached me asking for anything - it was Indeed self service .A plate of poori needed three reminders and ended up at the wrong table only to be diverted to me .The restaurant was not crowded , just around 20 Guest , but staff behaved as though I was invicible ( I did come out and ask my driver if he can see me !! ) .Sad to see a total deterioration in service levels from a brand which has been a symbol of customer service .

After staying in ramada found vivanta very ok. The staff in restaurant was not well versed with understanding. It was ok.

Stay started off pretty average tbh, wasn't expecting much. We mentioned our disappointment at the desk, and that's when Nikhil stepped in ’ he genuinely turned things around and made sure we got that proper Taj experience. Really appreciated it.Our room had a gorgeous view, easily one of the best we've stayed in. Rooms are spacious and well kept.Restaurant service was okay-ish though, felt there's scope for improvement there. Breakfast was decent overall.Huge thanks to Nikhil for his hospitality, he made the stay memorable despite the rough edges elsewhere.

I had the pleasure of staying at Vivanta Cochin on 2nd August, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish.The hospitality truly stood out. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, courteous, and genuinely eager to help, making the stay feel welcoming and comfortable. I was also fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade to a sea-facing room with a beautiful sunset view, which completely elevated my experience. Waking up to the view and watching the sunset from the room was simply exceptional.The room itself was immaculate, well-maintained, and equipped with everything one would expect from a premium hotel. The overall facilities were excellent, and every aspect of my stay reflected the high standards that Vivanta is known for.If I had one small suggestion, it would be about the building's exterior, particularly the outer walls and balcony areas. A fresh coat of paint or some maintenance to address the visible water stains would further enhance the hotel’s appearance and match the excellent experience offered inside.Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and I would gladly recommend Vivanta Cochin to anyone looking for outstanding hospitality, comfortable rooms, and breathtaking views. I look forward to staying here again.

I had a lovely time at Taj Vivanta Ernakulam, right on Marine Drive. The spot is perfect, offering stunning views of Marine Drive and making it super easy to explore the city. The rooms were spotless, comfy and in great shape, and the staff were so friendly and helpful all the time. The breakfast was a treat, with lots of choices. There are a few little things we could tweak to make it even more amazing, but overall, it was a lovely and relaxing stay.
