Keeping passenger safety in mind, the services of several special trains have been stopped due to dense fog and poor visibility, especially in the northern states of India.
The cancellation of these trains will come into effect from this week and last till the end of January or till the first week of February 2021, as per schedule.

> Train no. 02988 Ajmer – Sealdah Daily Special train has been cancelled from 16.12.20 till 31.01.21.
> Train no. 02987 Sealdah – Ajmer Daily Special train has been cancelled from 17.12.20 till 01.02.21.
> Train no. 09611 Ajmer – Amritsar Bi-weekly Special train has been cancelled on 17.12.20, 19.12.20, 24.12.20, 26.12.20, 31.12.20, 02.01.21, 07.01.21, 09.01.21, 14.01.21, 16.01.21, 21.01.21, 23.01.21, 28.01.21 and 30.01.21.
> Train no. 09614 Amritsar – Ajmer Bi-weekly Special train has been cancelled on 18.12.20, 20.12.20, 25.12.20, 27.12.20, 01.01.21, 03.01.21, 08.01.21, 10.01.21, 15.01.21, 17.01.21, 22.01.21, 24.01.21, 29.01.21 and 31.01.21.
> Train no. 05909 Dibrugarh – Lalgarh Special train has been cancelled from 16.12.20 till 31.01.21.
> Train no. 05910 Lalgarh – Dibrugarh Special train has been cancelled from 19.12.20 till 03.02.21.
Along with this, the Railway zone has notified about the partial cancellation of two trains:
> Train no. 04712 Shri Ganganagar – Haridwar Special train will remain cancelled between Saharanpur and Haridwar from 16.12.20 till 31.01.21.
> Train no. 04711 Haridwar – Shri Ganganagar Special train will remain cancelled between Haridwar and Saharanpur from 16.12.20 till 31.01.21.
