Solo Traveller • Sep 2026The highlight of the stay is definitely the view; the resort is secluded and offers a jungle atmosphere, though monkeys can be a nuisance when you're relaxing in the pool. The rooms are poorly maintained and require thorough cleaning and upkeep. The weekend prices don't seem justified given the condition of the rooms. There are many steps throughout the resort, some of which become very slippery during the rainy season. Insects may enter the rooms due to gaps around the glass doors that should have been properly sealed given the location. The food and service are good. The jungle surroundings can feel a bit frightening at night, so it's advisable to visit with a group. Staying in a room with a view is a good option if you can get it at a reasonable price.
