Generally a pleasant stay, though there are areas that could be improved.

We stayed here for one night. The rooms were clean and roomy, with nice amenities and facilities. The restaurant on site was excellent. Everything we ordered, from snacks to main dishes, was tasty, though somewhat expensive. Both the hotel and restaurant staff provided excellent service. They also offer a fantastic day outing package featuring many adventure activities. This place is definitely worth considering for team trips or a couples' getaway.

We stayed at Prana Resort for a short weekend trip and liked our time there. The resort is quite large and conveniently close to Pune, offering a variety of indoor and outdoor activities along with a nice pool. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are very polite. However, our booking experience was disappointing. We initially reserved 4 rooms but had to cancel due to a family medical emergency. The resort would not waive or adjust the cancellation fees, so we had to rebook 2 rooms to avoid losing the entire deposit. Additionally, the rates listed on travel websites, including Prana's, are lower than what their booking office charged. We suggest booking online and avoiding advance payments when possible. We might consider returning in the future.

I held my wedding at Prana Resort in April and want to share both the good and bad aspects of my experience. First, I sincerely thank the resort staff. The food was fantastic, and the service over both days was impeccable. The hospitality team did an excellent job, and we have no complaints about the resort itself. However, my biggest disappointment was being forced to use the in-house decorator, Naveen Nanda Events, which turned out to be the most frustrating part of the wedding. Before the event, the main planner visited our home and met with us several times to understand our vision and event flow. We paid the full amount upfront, which was much higher than quotes from outside decorators, yet many key promises were not fulfilled. At our engagement, the sofa meant for the stage was left on the floor, leaving my husband and me standing on stage for nearly the entire event because no decorator was available to move it. This was embarrassing and avoidable on such an important day. The next day, we had asked for mattresses for guests to sit comfortably on the ground and were assured we would get eight, but not a single mattress was provided. The biggest letdown was the missing stage ramp on our wedding day, something we had discussed repeatedly and were promised multiple times. Despite full payment and constant assurances, the ramp was never installed. What I had envisioned for my wedding was not delivered. Even more disappointing was the total lack of accountability. The main coordinator I had worked with was absent during both event days, and I never saw him managing the event. After everything that went wrong, I didn’t receive any follow-up or calls. My humble request to Prana Resort is to allow couples the option to hire outside decorators instead of mandating the in-house vendor. Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events, and decoration is crucial to creating lasting memories. While the resort offers excellent hospitality, couples shouldn’t be forced to use a vendor who fails to meet commitments. I truly appreciate Prana Resort for its great food, beautiful venue, and excellent service. I just wish the decoration experience had been up to the same standard.
