Situated in a local authentic part of Amritsar. Close to the Golden temple and facilities. People who run it are very helpful. Beds are comfortable with fresh linens. Bathroom is old but is kept cleanish.
Being a solo traveller you can definitely go for this option, although it is situated in a narrow and unpleasant street. However, premises from inside is neat and clean. Definately a Yes if you feel okay with random strangers and can sleep peacefully even if someone is shouting in the same room. Hygienic place, with all necessary amenities available on request, just carry your own food and water with you if you are planning to stay here else you'll hurt your legs going in an out everytime you feel hungry, because market is also bit far.
AC will be used between 10pm to 7am keep that in mind while booking. But in this rainy season AC is must. Rest it is value for money accommodation. Also washroom need deep cleaning and basket and bucket needs to get changed.
