The location is super convenient for discovering the city, especially if you want to explore Amritsar on foot and be near the main sights. What I appreciated most was the backpacker atmosphere — laid-back, friendly, and full of that travel spirit rather than just a typical hotel stay. The dorm was cozy and clean, and the shared lounge area was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff were sincerely warm and helpful, especially with local tips, which made the experience feel much more personal. If you're visiting Amritsar to explore, meet new people, and soak up the city’s vibe instead of just staying in a room, this place is ideal. The washroom was not cleaned and the room was very humid; there should have been some ventilation at least.

I initially planned to spend just a day in Amritsar, but after arriving at Amritsar Backpackers Hostel, my plans completely changed! The hostel's atmosphere, the people, and the overall vibe were so wonderful that my short visit extended to about 10–15 days. This hostel feels like a home away from home, with a warm, welcoming environment full of positive energy. It's a great place to meet fantastic people, make new friends, and build lasting memories. Honestly, this was one of the highlights of my trip. If you're visiting Amritsar, you should definitely stay here at least once—you won't regret it! I came for a day and ended up staying nearly two weeks, which says a lot about how special this place is. Highly recommended!
