Fortune Inn Heritage Walk Amritsar - Member ITC Hotels' Group

When booking Fortune Inn Heritage, they included a food package and complimentary baby food. However, after check-in, the staff were very rude when offering the baby food and said everything would be charged. They also canceled our food package after we had already started using it. The staff's behavior was very unprofessional compared to Fortune ITC's usual standards.

Our stay was very good. Prior to this trip I have stayed in this hotel more than 5 times .

Our time at Fortune Inn Heritage Walk in Amritsar was fantastic from beginning to end. The location was unbeatable — right on Heritage Walk and very close to the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Partition Museum, shopping areas, and the old city. Stepping outside puts you right in the center of Amritsar, yet returning to the hotel after a day of sightseeing felt cozy and relaxing. The hospitality truly stood out, with everything running smoothly from check-in and housekeeping to dining and fulfilling every small request. The whole team seemed genuinely dedicated to making our family comfortable. The food deserves special praise. Although we sampled some of Amritsar’s well-known dhabas nearby, some of the best meals we had during our trip were actually at the hotel. We found several dishes at Fortune Inn even better than the famous dhabas around Heritage Walk! The quality, flavors, freshness, and consistency were excellent. Chef Ajay deserves a special shoutout for his outstanding dishes, from Paneer Bhurji to Dal to Paranthas and Kulchas. In a city famous for its food, having the hotel restaurant become a culinary highlight of our trip speaks volumes. A big thank you to Duty Manager Ali, Restaurant Manager Naman, Abhishek, and Rani for their wonderful hospitality. Their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. These personal touches turn a good hotel experience into a memorable one. The rooms were comfortable, the location perfect, the food superb, and the service flawless. Most importantly, the hospitality had a warmth that stayed with us. We leave Amritsar with great memories, and Fortune Inn Heritage Walk is a big part of them. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amritsar, especially families wanting to stay near the Golden Temple without sacrificing comfort, service, or some of the best Punjabi food in the city. Thanks again to Chef Ajay, Ali, Naman, Abhishek, Rani, and the entire Fortune Inn team for making our stay so special. We would gladly come back!

The morning staff was rude. We had to leave early and asked them to arrange something for breakfast. They said only sandwiches and prantha were possible. We requested packed sandwiches and to serve prantha and chai before leaving. They arranged a buffet, but we only tasted vada, and that too without a plate, just tasted it. They said it was chargeable. I mean, it's basic manners not to point fingers before eating and then say breakfast is chargeable, which was already included. Just because sandwiches were packed, we couldn't even taste anything from the buffet. The man at reception and the service boy were very rude. Also, the day before, they charged 450 for an order roll, and the next day the same roll was 530. I mean, what the hell? Only the rooms were good, and the evening staff was fine.
