Black Beach Resort

I wouldn't suggest this hotel if you want a comfortable and quality stay. The place feels cramped, and the rooms are not well kept. We found bedbugs near the pillow and under the bedsheet, which is unacceptable. We also had electrical problems, and the management did not handle them well. The staff said the dim lighting was part of the hotel's style, but after switching rooms because of the power issue, the new room had good lighting, showing the first room had a fault, not a design choice. Another big letdown was the balcony was off-limits due to maintenance, even though it was included with the room we paid for. There was constant noise from repair work, ruining the calm atmosphere. They have a pool about 500 meters from the restaurant, walkable, but it was very poorly kept. The pool water had too much chlorine, many bugs, and was full of fallen leaves. Overall, the pool seemed neglected. The food was just okay, and the hospitality was lacking. The only good thing was the direct sea view from the restaurant. Out of 10 reasons to stay here, I'd give only 1 point for the sea view. Everything else was disappointing.

Terrible experience... they don't offer basic amenities such as dental kits or towels, and guests have to plead for two hours just to get water bottles. The rooms are poorly maintained, everything looks old and worn out, wooden furniture is nearly collapsing, sockets have loose connections, and there are voltage fluctuations... customer service is very poor.

There is a swimming pool about 500 meters from the restaurant, within walking distance, but it was badly maintained with very high chlorine levels, bugs in the water, and many fallen leaves. The pool clearly received no proper upkeep. The only positive aspect was the wonderful sea view from the restaurant, which is honestly the sole reason to visit, not to stay. Overall, I rate it 1 out of 10. For a better experience with good hospitality at a low price, consider Palm View Residency.

Excellent location, tidy rooms, and a peaceful environment. I would certainly come back.
