Cleanliness was inconsistent... had a poor experience...

Our stay was very disappointing, mostly due to how the internet problem was managed. The hotel apparently hadn’t paid its internet bill because the accountant was on leave, leaving us without internet for a whole day. Since we were working during our stay, this caused a big disruption. When we reported the problem, the reply was just “Can’t do it today.” There was no urgency, no alternatives offered, and no real attempt to fix the issue. This problem could have been avoided, and more importantly, they didn’t seem to care that guests couldn’t work. Other essentials were also missing—we received water and towels at check-in, but none the next day. The hotel wasn’t very clean, and there were very few staff available to assist. Having also seen the owner’s rude and defensive replies to earlier reviews, I sadly don’t expect these problems to get better. Overall, poor service, lack of responsibility, and especially poor handling of a major internet outage.

The resort is situated in a great location with easy access to the cliff. However, the room was not well kept and the service was subpar. They seem understaffed to properly manage the property, yet it still sells out due to its prime location.

I am very disappointed with the service and hospitality at this hotel. I've stayed here three times previously, and I've never seen such neglect or indifferent behavior from the staff. The hotel's cleanliness and upkeep have worsened a lot, and it's even more upsetting that no one seems willing to take responsibility or fix the problems. There was no internet during our stay, and when we asked about it, we were told casually that the internet bill hadn't been paid, so the service was cut off. The way this was said made it seem like it was normal and not the hotel's problem, which was surprising. The biggest letdown is the total lack of accountability. It really feels like the staff only care about giving you the room key. After that, no one seems to care about the guest's experience, cleanliness, basic facilities, or solving issues. Having stayed here many times before, I know it wasn't always like this. Something has definitely changed, and sadly, the quality of service and hospitality has dropped a lot.

Sunview Resort offers a fairly good place to stay. We experienced a bit of a wait before our rooms were ready, but once inside, the rooms were nicely kept and comfortable. The bathrooms and other amenities were clean and met expectations. The receptionist was not very warm or friendly, though they did share helpful details about renting two-wheelers. Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus, though the selection was somewhat limited; adding more variety would improve it. The resort's location is a major plus, with lovely sunset views and easy beach access. Nearby cafés add to the convenience for exploring the surroundings. In summary, it was a comfortable and decent stay with a prime location and straightforward beach and café access. Enhancing the check-in experience and staff friendliness could make it even better.
