The property is at an excellent location right beside the sea with good sea view. But when I booked a room which had specified full sea view, they had provided me with a room which which had a tree right in front of the seas view. Otherwise had a comfortable stay. The facilities were good and so was the breakfast. It is on the costlier side but so are most properties ina varkala.
Highly recommend rooms are clean
I booked two sea-view rooms through Agoda for around 11,500 rupees, but they are worth only 2,000 rupees; the resort staff told me they only sell these rooms for 2,000 rupees and that Agoda charges more than 5,000 rupees per room, and the picture below shows the experience I had when I arrived. It is not a resort, just a lodge. They do not have any power backup, and they experience power cuts. Do not expect a toothbrush or a welcome drink. The amenities are only for show; I did not receive any of them. Valet parking is only for the first time; if you go outside and come back, you need to park your car yourself. Be careful about stray dogs. It is better to choose another place; do not expect resort-like hospitality, as it is just a lodge.
