City Lake Hotel

I frequently stay at City Lake Bengaluru and have been a guest multiple times; you can verify my stay records. I hold your brand in high regard, which is why I feel compelled to provide feedback about my recent visit, as it did not align with City Lake's usual hospitality standards on April 30. 1. Restaurant Service – Interaction with Mr. Deepak I had an important meeting at 1:30 PM. At noon, I checked with the restaurant if biryani would be ready, and Mr. Deepak assured me it would be by 1:00 PM, so I planned accordingly. When I returned at 1:00 PM to order, he said it would only be ready at 1:30 PM. When I mentioned his earlier confirmation, he argued, saying, “It’s not my problem, the chef just arrived,” and “You should have told me at noon you needed it by 1:00 PM.” When I politely asked his name, he replied, “My name is Deepak. What will you do, complain? I don’t care.” This miscommunication disrupted my plans, but his attitude was more troubling. This felt unprofessional and not in line with Novotel’s service standards. I share this so other guests don’t face the same issue and trust you will review and address your team’s service training accordingly. I would appreciate acknowledgment of this feedback. 2. In-Room Amenity Charge At check-in, I asked for a whiskey glass for my room and was told there is a ₹50 charge per glass. While I respect hotel policies, charging for basic glassware that stays on the premises and is not taken away is unusual for a 5-star hotel and was disappointing. I have also escalated this complaint to your management and corporate. Please take strict action and provide proper briefing on this matter.

This hotel is incredible! Such elegance. If you don't visit, you're truly missing something. The views are the best in the city, surpassing even the Four Seasons.

Staying near Manyata Tech Park is an excellent option. The rooms, food, and service are all good. Rakshit and Jon are very skilled at their jobs and were a great help during my stay!

City Lake Hotel and Koyla is an excellent spot to relax. The draught beer is exceptional and the food is fantastic. I visit City Lake Hotel very often. Honestly, the rooms are great and everything is conveniently located in one place. For me, it's close to my office, with rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and friendly staff all available. I'm just sharing my review—give it a try yourself, you won't regret it. Thanks to the City Lake team.
