Cloud Green Resort & Spa

The hotel is extremely overpriced and the rooms are poor unless you book the priciest option. We paid 2.5K per night per room, but the room felt more like it was worth 800-1000, even though it was off-season. The bedsheet had a bad smell, there were several cockroaches, and the mattress was quite hard. On the plus side, the staff were quick and helpful. Note: The hotel is not directly on the main road; you have to walk about 100-150 meters with your luggage, so plan accordingly.

A generally pleasant spot with good service, spacious and well-kept rooms. The hotel features a swimming pool, a games area, and plenty of parking. For nature lovers, the Shri Janni Kumbhaljai temple is nearby and can be reached on foot.

Unable to find location and they cancelled booking giving unnecessary reason, very worst experience not recommended

We reserved two Super Deluxe Garden View rooms with Jacuzzi (Rooms 102 and 103) for 3 days/2 nights via MakeMyTrip, paying around ₹19,000. Sadly, our stay was unsatisfactory due to poor upkeep, misleading details, and subpar service. Room Problems: - Upon arrival, no drinking water or help with luggage was offered until we asked. - Room 103 had electrical sparks near the AC caused by water leakage, posing a serious safety risk. - We were first offered a non-jacuzzi room as a replacement, despite paying for jacuzzi rooms. After declining, we were moved to Room 202, said to have a forest view, but the view was blocked by dense trees in the garden. - Room 202 was badly maintained: dusty ceiling fan dropping dust on bed and luggage, clogged bathroom drain, tobacco wrapper under the bed, and a used ashtray left behind causing a bad smell. - The next day, we had to leave Room 202 as it was assigned to another guest. We returned to Room 103, told the leak was fixed, but water still dripped from the ceiling, with only a bucket placed to catch it. No other rooms were available. Service: Service did not match the price. We repeatedly asked for basics like towels, toilet paper, and water. Staff seldom checked if we needed anything. Despite the hassle of room changes and maintenance issues, no refund or compensation was offered. I only asked for a discount on the food bill, which was denied at checkout. Swimming Pool: The pool was dirty throughout. Initially told it wasn’t cleaned due to rain, I requested cleaning the next day, but it remained dirty despite better weather, making it unusable. Misleading Amenities: Many amenities listed on MakeMyTrip were missing or staff unaware: - Sauna and steam room - Puppet/magic shows - Bonfire - Cycling - Kid's menu - Barbecue - Spa/massage (listing said 20% discount, but spa was unavailable) - Riverside trek (staff showed little interest) Also, lift shaft construction caused noise and disturbance during our stay. Positives: - Breakfast was good. - The jacuzzi was enjoyable. My advice to management: don’t advertise unavailable amenities or accept bookings for rooms under maintenance. If a booked room isn’t ready, inform guests beforehand and offer refunds or compensation. Overall, the stay didn’t justify the cost, and I can’t recommend this property based on our experience.

We chose a Non-AC Room since AC isn't necessary in Mahabaleshwar, and the room was reasonably priced. Our room included a bathtub with hot water, and we had a pleasant stay. The receptionist was very friendly and helped us get the best services.
