Hotel Alpine Continental

Not suitable for Sr.citizen as lift in 2nd floor, Room condition worst. Amenities are ont good quality. Vehicle approach not available in reception. Food quality average.

Location of hotel is in heart of City. BUT quality of room, room AC, service of lower level team to till General Manager is very rude and arrogant.We have paid nearly 6K for 1 night for their highest quality of room. After 30 minutes of check in, we found that AC was giving hot air only. I called to reception and they send one person who acted as he solved the issue. As AC was continue to blow hot air, we asked again to reception to either visit himself or send any experiance person which took them another 30 minutes to send bell boy. He too tried but couldn't resolve the issue. We requested bell boy to call either reception or manager but he denied. After almost 20 minutes, he called reception manager who was very much arrogant person. He offered us to Take fan in our room whereas we paid for AC. We asked him to change room but he denied stating that we have used this room and it is not possible to change it. After calling to Police station, we called his manager who was another piece of arrogancy who started argued that this is new AC which is looks like 5+ year old. Water almost 2 hours + of this drama, General Manager accepted that there is Problem in AC and offered us full refund.I don't recommend this hotel to any online viewers.I request all customers who deal with them should check all amenities before paying them.

I recently stayed at Alpine continental.The hotel’s location is one of its biggest advantages ’ it’s centrally situated, making it easy to access Police Bazaar and other key spots in Shillong. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with good amenities for a relaxed stay. Housekeeping was prompt, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit.The in-house restaurant served tasty food with decent variety, and the breakfast was satisfying. Service was generally efficient, though during peak hours there was a slight delay, which is understandable.What stood out most was the warm hospitality ’ the team made genuine efforts to ensure guests felt comfortable. Considering the location, comfort, and service quality, it offers good value for money.

To be very frank, this one's the worst hotel I've ever been to, First of all one of the staff members, need to learn some manners, I'vestayed in many hotels and have never seen such a rude behavior.. and they deliberately gave us a smelly room that lacked ventilation and had broken doors, absolutely pathetic..the food was decent.. and yes they did change the room but that room was also not up to the mark.. not to mention, each and every small facility over here is gonna be chargeable extra mattress, bottled water..etcI would never recommend y'all to come here..rest is your choice :)Thank you
