Hotel Goodwill

I reserved my room here via MMT in the evening, but when I arrived at the hotel at night, they claimed there was no booking under my name. I showed them my reservation, but they refused to acknowledge it. The front desk staff member was rude and did not respond appropriately.

Very disappointing experience. I paid ’12,000 for a 2-night stay based on a long list of promised amenities, including a balcony, mini refrigerator, speakers, mineral water, housekeeping, and more. However, I was given a basic room without many of these facilities ’ no balcony, no refrigerator, no speakers, and not even basic things like a water bottle or washroom slippers.When I raised the issue, the manager simply said the required room was not available. If that’s the case, the booking should never have been confirmed under those specifications.I booked through MakeMyTrip because I trusted the platform and the amenities listed there. As customers, we rely on such platforms for accurate information. It is very disappointing to feel misled after paying this amount.Overall, I feel overcharged and cheated. Not recommended unless there is proper transparency between the hotel and the booking platform regarding room availability and promised amenities.
