Hotel Park Suites At Airport

I believe I have been seriously misled by both Agoda and the property listed on Agoda.After making a confirmed booking for Hotel Park Suits, I reached the location mentioned in my Agoda booking. However, there was no hotel by the name “Hotel Park Suits” at that location. Instead, I found a property operating under the name Hotel Classic Park.I went to the reception on the first floor and specifically asked whether it was Hotel Park Suits. The receptionist confirmed that it was and asked me to show my Agoda booking confirmation. After I showed the confirmation, he took a photograph of it and then asked for the receipt after sharing it they asked me to wait, stating that no room was currently available.I agreed to wait and remained there for approximately 15 minutes. During this time, another couple arrived and was given a room. When I asked the receptionist when my room would be available, he said it would take longer and that he could not provide any definite time.At that point, I had no confidence that the booked room would actually be provided to me, so I immediately left the property.I then contacted Agoda, explained the entire situation and requested cancellation of the booking with a full refund. Despite explaining that the property appeared to be operating under a different name and that I had not been provided the room I had booked, Agoda refused to cancel the booking or provide a refund. More importantly, I did not receive any meaningful assistance in resolving the issue.There are also serious concerns regarding the way this property is represented on Agoda. The photographs shown in the listing appear to be AI-generated/otherwise misleading, while the property is presented under a different name from the hotel actually operating at the location.This is not simply a case of dissatisfaction with a hotel room. I arrived at the location of a confirmed booking and was unable to obtain the accommodation I had paid for. The property name, representation and actual experience were materially different.I am concerned that other customers may have experienced the same situation.I request that Agoda investigate:1. Why “Hotel Park Suits” is listed at this location when the property appears to operate as “Hotel Classic Park”.2. Whether Agoda has verified the identity and authorization of the property.3. Why the booking was accepted when accommodation was apparently unavailable.4. Why another guest was given a room while I was told to wait indefinitely.5. Why Agoda refused to provide a refund after I reported the issue immediately.6. Whether the photographs and other information in the listing accurately represent the property.I expect Agoda to investigate this matter properly and provide a full refund for the booking. I also expect the listing to be reviewed so that other customers are not placed in the same situation.
