I have stayed at this hotel every time I visit Guwahati, but unfortunately the service and condition have been getting worse over time. This time there were no glasses in the room even to drink water. The bedsheet was dirty and slightly smelly, and the comforter was also dirty with hair from previous guests, which was very uncomfortable. The bathroom looks very old and partly broken. The pillow and bed mattress were uncomfortable and worn out. There was also a constant smell in the room, like old leather or stored clothes. Since it was winter, I only used the AC in fan mode, but even that had a bad smell. If you ask me whether the price is worth it, I would say it is overrated. Overall, the experience was disappointing compared to my earlier stays, and I will not be staying here anymore.

Hotel SJ International, Guwahati offers a wonderful stay experience. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, the food is delicious, and the location is excellent with easy access to major areas. The staff is polite, cooperative, and very professional. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended....

Worst worst hotel ever seen.... The room smells really bad and when asked to change the front desk manager argued with us. We had a little baby, so he said this is not the first hotel in which your baby is staying so we can not change the room. After reaching out to our agent, they changed our room. They simply said we do not have any other room available. They even charge for toothpaste and room slippers. Do not give extra water If needed. We called them to get extra soap and they said we are coming to give that but no one came.Staff rude and worst service. I would say to everyone who are going to read the comment, please do not go to this hotel, the rooms are suffocating, no ventilation and not even exhaust in washroom.
