HOTEL APOLLO

The stay was very disappointing and too expensive. The rooms smelled bad, the walls had stains, the AC didn't work, and the room's overall state was far below what you'd expect for the price. The food quality was also quite bad. I paid ₹4,200 per day, which I find completely unjustified for a room that I think isn't even worth ₹1,000. Even the bathroom toiletries were unsatisfactory—the body wash and shampoo seemed watered down. Overall, it was a bad experience and definitely not worth the money. I would strongly recommend others to reconsider before booking this hotel.

The hotel was terrible and disappointing. I stayed for two nights, and the air conditioning in the room didn't work at all during the day and night. The room key kept malfunctioning, so every time we left for work, we had to call someone from reception to unlock the door. No one was willing to provide clean bath towels; instead, the staff gave us used ones. It was a nightmare, yet they still charged me 7500/-. I informed the owner, but judging by her reaction, I realized it was a pointless conversation and feedback. I would advise all travelers not to book this kind of hotel in the city center. It should be blacklisted and shut down. The staff seem focused only on billing and are not trained to deliver basic service standards expected in the hospitality industry.

Since 2022, I have been staying here during my official trips. The hotel's location is excellent and a major plus. The staff are polite and straightforward.

The location is excellent with great connectivity. The room I stayed in, number 305, was very beautiful and offered no city view. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The room itself was also quite roomy. I would definitely choose to stay in room 305 again on my next visit to Guwahati.
