Couple • India • May 2026Stayed in Lilawati Grand for one night with my family. I booked it at a discounted price through Agoda. Initially the receptionist had a lot of problem confirming the booking at that price (as he said that room rates were higher). Anyway, with a scornful face he summoned a bell boy to show the room (which somehow felt that he signalled the worst room). The room was the tiniest room available with a TV that didn't work, NO WIFI, and no drinking water. On being asked they said that water was not complimentary and you have to pay ( which was in premium 1l for rs 32). It seemed that the room and the toilet had not been cleaned from previous guest stay. Bed sheets seemed used.I also spoke regarding this at the front desk. There was no intercom to call the reception. On the menu for room service a mobile number was given for reception which was never answered. All in all it definitely was a CHEAP DEAL. I hope AGODA in its haste to capture the market of domestic travellers focuses more on selection of service providers instead of celebrity endorsement.
Better find another hotel. You will get the dirtiest linens and not even a drop of water to drink. Every call you make for anything they will fleece you. Hotel is staffed with most unprofessional staffs with not even a basic courtesy to the client.
