One of the older and yet well known Hotels, situated conveniently at Ranjit Avenue in Amritsar.Larger spacious rooms and a good Buffet breakfast.Ideal as a base for your food explorations in the city.

The hotel is good, but the service is not good. The landline provided in rooms not working and everytime if we have to order something then we need to visit reception area . Pathetic service.

The location of the hotel is good, but that’s the only positive. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Snacks kept in the room were charged at extremely inflated prices’’50 for a product with an MRP of ’10, which is unacceptable. Very poor experience due to rude staff and unfair pricing.

After staying for two days, I would like to share my feedback regarding my experience.The Wi-Fi was not working in my room throughout the entire stay. I informed the reception about this issue at the time of check-in, but no action was taken and nothing was done to resolve the problem. As Wi-Fi is a basic facility, this caused significant inconvenience.Additionally, the receptionist’s behavior was rude and arrogant

Loved the MK hotel for a stay of four nights, will come back if we visit Amritsar again. The elegant decor and the spacious rooms were impressive. The building is not new, but the bathrooms and decor have all been updated. Very popular with weddings and those who like to host events. The restaurants are both excellent, the breakfast area is particularly elegant and spacious with high ceilings. The staff were all polite, courteous and responsive. Many of them have stayed with the hotel for years - which indicates it is a good place to work. The housekeeping staff are the best ever - prompt and no fuss, so were the breakfast area’s restaurant with senior staff Mr Rajpal Singh, Mr Tilak Raj of the evening restaurant, the singer with the velvet voice who sang soft romantic tracks over dinner hours, the doorman, reception staff, bellboy Mr Pavan - all were professional - these are all things that well-travelled guests appreciate. The area is walkable and near shops and restaurants within 1 km, there is a mini mart close by.The only negative (not the hotel’s fault) was some really really loud, penetrating music that apparently came from the college grounds across the main road, likely some concert - it went on from dusk till 10:30 pm on a Saturday - made it impossible to sleep for an early start the next day. Public noise, especially at night, is not acceptable anymore in developed nations - and it is time these things are taken seriously by regulators.
