We recently stayed at the Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel for a family wedding, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Chef Suneel Kumar Sharma leading the culinary experience.From our very first interaction, Suneel was attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in understanding our family’s vision for the events. He took the time to listen carefully to our requirements and worked closely with us to curate multiple menus across different functions, ensuring each one felt special and tailored to our guests.What truly stood out was not only his culinary expertise but also his warmth and empathy. Throughout the wedding celebrations, he consistently checked in with us, remained flexible with last-minute adjustments, and ensured everything ran seamlessly. His presence at every breakfast and during key service times gave us great reassurance, especially as he personally catered to guests with specific dietary needs.Some of the standout dishes curated by Suneel and his team included the Manchurian, kadhi, kofta curry, and a beautifully prepared tiramisu ’ all of which were widely praised by our guests.Suneel, thank you for your dedication, hospitality, and exceptional food. You played a significant role in making this wedding truly memorable for our family and friends. We are deeply grateful.

I am staying at the hotel for 25 days, and throughout my stay, the restaurant staff have been consistently amazing.Everyone is polite, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile.Special thanks to Ms. Menuka and Mr. Brijj Mr. KK for the excellent service and genuine hospitality.They truly made my long stay more comfortable and enjoyable.Highly recommended great team and great service!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.At the front desk, the staff clearly quoted a room price of ’6,555 per night for 3 adults. While we were discussing check-in, the manager Bandana intervened and suddenly demanded ’9,055 per night for the same room, without any valid explanation. When I questioned the sudden price change, she became extremely rude, unprofessional, and used inappropriate language. She spoke with other front desk executive so rudely in front of me and scold on him (Dhruv) and disrespected him badly.This entire incident happened around midnight, and I was traveling with my senior citizen mother. Instead of resolving the issue calmly, the manager escalated the situation and showed zero empathy or courtesy. Because of this unacceptable behavior, we decided not to check in and were forced to search for another hotel in the middle of the night, causing immense stress and inconvenience.Such behavior is completely unacceptable for a hotel carrying the Renaissance / Marriott brand. Misquoting prices, last-minute changes, and disrespectful treatment of guests’especially elderly guests’reflect extremely poor management and customer service.I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Management seriously needs training in professionalism, ethics, and basic hospitality.

Excellent hotel - standout being warmth of staff.Stayed as a family of 6 over a weekend.Staff took great care - Bipul from front desk was proactive and engaged in making sure we got rooms as desired. Housekeeping staff Arjun and Tushar were prompt and effective. Sanjeev from the breakfast section was exceptionally attentive to our needs and did his best to meet our expectations.The breakfast with local dishes made from local sources (excellent khaman - though they ran out early) was a great plus!Strongly recommend and hope to be back soon.
