Sapphire Inn

’’’’’I stayed at Sapphire Inn, Pondicherry yesterday and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The overall atmosphere was peaceful, and everything was neat and hygienic. It was a comfortable stay, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and budget-friendly place in Pondicherry.

The rooms are so so tiny.We were a group of 3 friends, so we added an extra bed which costed over 1k per night. But there was no place to even stand apart from the actual bed. I don't understand where we were supposed to put the extra bed.When asked, the old man at the reception made it even worse. He made sure to spoil our vibe before we even started our trip.I felt it wasn't neat and was more like a matchbox.The only good thing is the location. Felt everything is walkable.Wouldn't recommend.

Sapphire Inn, Pondicherry ’ 1 starI had a truly terrible stay at Sapphire Inn. The room was filthy and infested with cockroaches, which made the entire stay unsafe and unhygienic. The hotel did not provide car parking (only Two Car available in than building for 12 Rooms) , So no car parking available for that Buildinig, Goibibo and Sapphire inn provided False information despite expectations and information implying otherwise. On top of that, I was charged an extra Rs. 650 during for my kid, Goibibo Children for 17 Age is Free of stay. While Booking it shows Free Stay for kidsStaff attitude was unhelpful when I raised these issues, and management offered no satisfactory resolution. I do not recommend this hotel until they thoroughly improve cleanliness, transparency about charges, and basic facilities like parking.

I had a deeply uncomfortable and disappointing experience at this hotel.While making the booking, I clearly mentioned that we would be traveling with children and even paid the additional charges shown on the booking platform. However, upon arrival, the staff attempted to charge us extra again for the kids, which felt completely dishonest and misleading.What made the situation worse was the behavior of the person at the front desk. The way he spoke was extremely unsettling and unprofessional. He insisted on ID proof for a 4-year-old child, which is not only unreasonable but also felt very inappropriate. His tone and approach came across as intimidating and, frankly, quite creepy.Instead of resolving the issue respectfully, the staff created unnecessary stress for a family with young children. This is not the kind of environment any guest should have to deal with’especially when everything was already clearly stated and paid for in advance.I would strongly advise families, in particular, to think twice before staying here. Transparency, professionalism, and basic courtesy were completely lacking in our experience.

I had a really great experience staying at Shappir Inn. The service was excellent from start to finish, and everything was well managed. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant.A special mention to the manager ’ he was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay. He went out of his way to assist us, which made our experience even better.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Will definitely visit again!
