One of the best hotel experiences we've ever had.From the moment we checked in until we left, the hospitality at Snow Valley Heights was simply outstanding. Every member of the team greeted us with a warm smile and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable.The breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. A special thanks to Chef BABURAM for preparing such wonderful meals with so much care. We would also like to sincerely appreciate Surjeet, Manjeet and Virender, whose warmth, attentiveness, and courteous service made every dining experience truly special.A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, General Manager, for personally ensuring our stay was perfect and for the special care and attention he extended to my parents. Such thoughtful gestures are rare and truly reflect the hotel's commitment to genuine hospitality.The views from the rooms are absolutely mesmerizing and worth waking up to every morning. The only minor drawback is the slightly steep and narrow approach road to the hotel, but once you arrive, the experience more than makes up for it.Kudos to the entire management and staff for creating such a welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels valued. We left with beautiful memories and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Shimla!

Located about 30 mins away from the mall road. The hotel is situated in a quaint location without much street noise. However there are multiple residential buildings around the hotel with narrow streets.The staff is courteous but not very professional. Looked like a novice staff especially the cleaners.Food is okay, nothing great like the way reviews are posted. There dinners buffet was a good deal with usual food options.

I genuinely wanted to give this hotel a 5-star rating because my first day experience was excellent. The staff was attentive, the room was clean, and everything felt worth the premium price. Unfortunately, the experience declined significantly over the next two days.We handed over our room keys around 10:30 AM and specifically requested room cleaning, water refilling, fresh towels, toiletries, and soap refills before leaving. However, when we returned at around 3:30 PM, the housekeeping had only just started cleaning. We had come back to rest for an hour before heading out again, but instead, we had to wait while the room was being cleaned.Even after the cleaning was completed, the washroom still had stains, the closet area had visible shoe marks, and basic toiletries were missing. The towels were not changed despite repeated requests, and the water bottles were not refilled until we reminded them several times. Every small request required multiple follow-ups, sometimes 10 to 15 reminders, which is unacceptable for a property charging premium prices.The Wi-Fi was another major disappointment. Although advertised, it barely worked throughout our stay, and we had to rely entirely on our own mobile data.The food quality was decent overall, but on one occasion, I found a large hair in my meal, which completely ruined the dining experience.What disappointed me the most was the attitude of the morning housekeeping staff. They were unresponsive, argumentative, and behaved as if basic requests like changing towels or providing toiletries were unreasonable. In contrast, the evening and night staff were polite, prompt, and genuinely helpful. They deserve appreciation for their hospitality.We spent approximately 50,000-60,000 during our stay, including the room, food, and generous tips to the staff every day, yet the level of service did not justify the amount spent.One more thing to note: I upgraded to the panoramic view room by paying extra solely for the balcony experience. However, monkeys frequently roam outside, making it impossible to sit outside or enjoy the view peacefully. In my opinion, paying extra for this room category is not worth it, as a standard Club Room would provide a similar experience without the unnecessary premium.Overall, I loved the first day of my stay, but the poor housekeeping, lack of accountability, hygiene issues, and inconsistent service overshadowed the experience. I wanted to give 5 stars, but due to these repeated problems, I can only give this hotel 2 stars. The only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because the evening and night staff were genuinely courteous and helpful.
