Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur

We spent three nights and four days at Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur, and I can sincerely say it was one of the best hospitality experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the whole team made us feel very welcomed and cared for. The hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail during our stay were truly outstanding. We never felt lacking in anything — the staff always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and create lasting memories. Special thanks to Chef Manoj, who was always kind and helpful, and Bakery Chef Surendra, who delighted us with a beautiful birthday cake for my son. The restaurant team, especially Shubham and Anshu, were fantastic and always eager to assist. Housekeeping staff Neerusha and Kamal deserve special recognition. They arranged a wonderful birthday decoration for my son, and the care and thoughtfulness they showed made the celebration even more meaningful for our family. It was a lovely surprise we'll cherish. Many thanks also to the cart rider, Sahil, who was always helpful and made moving around the property enjoyable. At reception, Smriti and Rohit were very supportive, polite, and accommodating throughout our visit, ensuring all our needs were met promptly. I also want to acknowledge Surajpal Ji at the gate. His warm personality, kindness, and readiness to help truly impressed us. These small interactions with staff made our stay feel personal and special. Even at checkout, the team gave us a heartfelt farewell. Everyone gathered to take a photo with us alongside a “See You Soon” cake, a warm and thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly valued and left a lasting positive impression. Overall, our staycation at Taj Aravali was wonderful. The entire team — from chefs and restaurant staff to housekeeping, reception, cart service, and security — made us feel genuinely cared for. It was more than just a hotel stay; it was a beautiful experience for our whole family. The warmth, hospitality, and personalized service were exceptional. A big thank you to the entire Taj Aravali team for making our visit so memorable. We arrived as guests and left with treasured memories. Certainly one of our best hotel experiences ever, and we eagerly look forward to returning!

My overall stay was quite pleasant, and the breakfast in the morning was truly excellent. I want to especially commend Chef Surendra for his outstanding service and delicious food. He did a fantastic job, making the breakfast experience very enjoyable. Everything was good overall, but I want to point out a few areas for improvement: The TV in my room was disappointing since most channels didn't work due to subscription issues. For a hotel of Taj's caliber, we expected a fully operational TV with a good channel selection. The property is quite large, making it hard to walk between rooms, the restaurant, pool, and viewpoints, especially in hot weather. Guests rely heavily on buggies. Offering electric scooters would be a great idea, enabling easier and more independent movement anytime. It was also disappointing that basic activities like air hockey and pool required extra payment. For a resort of this level, such amenities should ideally be free for guests. Aside from these points, I had a wonderful time and the staff were very friendly 😊
