Housekeeping staff Ganesh and the girl managing that floor!! Both were simply wonderful, talented, creative and made us feel at home, the traditional welcome ’? was heartwarming, the dining crew was warm, hospitable and made us feel at home with suggestions and coaxing to try different things. Clean fresh air and cozy ambience of the earthy construction with plants in windowsill, stone flooring and wooden furniture completed the kolkata experience for us!! Thankyou ’’

Went there for the lunch buffet was a wonderful experience. Ms Ishika and Mr Tom were wonderful host with great suggestions to try especially the pizza which was delicious. Since it was my parents anniversary we were also given a complimentary customised designed cake .10 out of 10 .Must try

This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and the staff went over and above expectations. We had an issue with our room on the first night but Sanjib Ghosh immediately rectified it and gave us new rooms (which were perfect!). Kavitha in the kitchen ensured we always had everything we needed. Kishan served us kindly during chai adda in afternoon. Nasir with housekeeping ensured we were always stocked. My only issue was the location was far from the center of the city and we always needed to take an Uber in and out but this was minor.

We had a wonderful stay at the Taj. Barring an initial hiccup about the keys, the hotel is definitely worth visiting again. Just about a km from the Victoria memorial, the location is fantastic too. The food at Sonargaon was phenomenal. The rooms are great, spacious, airy and full of natural light. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Ganesh from housekeeping, celestina, ratan at sonargaon, naim at breakfast and so many more whose names I unfortunately cannot remember, truly made us comfortable enough to want to visit again.Special thanks to the man who stood outside the elevator and greeted every single person who got in our or, with a smile, every single time.The hospitality of Taj is unmatched.
