I have always preferred this hotel for myself and my family whenever we visit Kanpur. In the past, the service was excellent, which is why I kept returning. Unfortunately, my recent stay was very disappointing.For the first time, I lost some of my personal belongings during my stay. What was even more upsetting was the response from the hotel staff and management. Their attitude made it seem as though the loss of a guest's personal items was not a matter of concern.I was also disappointed by the behavior of a restaurant staff member, Shivam, who was quite rude and unhelpful. Additionally, when I went for breakfast, I was informed that I was late and would not be served. My request to have breakfast sent to my room was also denied, which was frustrating and unexpected.The overall service standards seem to have declined significantly compared to my previous experiences. This stay was far below the level of hospitality I had come to expect from this hotel.Sadly, because of this experience, I do not plan to return in the future. I will also be recommending other hotels to friends and family instead. This was not the experience I expected from a hotel I once trusted and enjoyed staying at.

Excellent stay with great hospitality. The rooms were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again.

Hotel The DownTown is a good hotel, bit costly but overall experience was ok.In approx 3300 rs. a room with 10??10 size looks bit costly. In which you'll get a queen size bed. For a normal room, you'll have to pay 1000rs. Extra. (Depend on your preference)Food and resturant are good.Their service was also nice, as i had faced an issue with AC which was not working properly, after my complaint they changed my room but AC problem was still not solved completely.But after all of that, i still had a good time there.
