Very disappointing experience due to poor security and lack of accountability.We stayed at this property in Room 109 and checked out on the 23rd July. During checkout, we discovered that our bike’s phone holder had been stolen while the bike was parked inside the hotel premises.What is more disappointing is that when we checked in on the 21st, we had parked our bike near the reception where CCTV cameras were installed. A staff member asked us to move the bike to another parking area, and we trusted their instructions, assuming our vehicle would be safe within the property.On the 22nd, we returned to the hotel around 5:30 PM. The CCTV footage at the entry gate would clearly show that the phone holder was still attached to our bike when we entered. We parked exactly where the hotel staff had instructed us to park. The next morning, at checkout, it was gone.We reported the theft immediately at the reception and were assured that the matter would be resolved. We also followed up through the contact numbers available online, but nothing was done. There was no proper investigation, no compensation, and no accountability.The only response we received was, ’Next time you visit, we’ll install a camera there.’ That is not a solution. Guests should not have to worry about their belongings being stolen because they followed the hotel’s parking instructions.The phone holder itself may not have been extremely expensive, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. A hotel should take responsibility when an incident like this happens on its premises, especially after directing guests to park in an area without CCTV coverage.I hope the management takes guest safety and security more seriously in the future so that others do not have a similar experience.

The only reply we got was that a camera would be installed there next time, which is not an adequate solution. Guests shouldn’t have to worry about theft after following hotel parking instructions. While the phone holder wasn’t very costly, the handling of this incident was unacceptable. Hotels should take responsibility for incidents on their premises, especially after directing guests to park in areas without CCTV. I hope management improves guest safety and security to prevent others from facing similar issues.
