Absolutely HORRIBLE experience at The Meadows Resort and Spa. Calling this place a “resort and spa” is honestly a joke. The property looks like it has not seen maintenance in decades. Peeling paint, broken handles, faucets literally coming off in your hand, damaged furniture, dirty surroundings — everything about this place screams neglect and zero upkeep.The bathroom situation was disgusting. Ants were crawling inside the bathroom, on the bathtub, and even on the commode. We also noticed old tea stains from previous guests still left uncleared on the tables, which explains why ants were everywhere in the room. The hygiene standards at this property are absolutely shameful.The beds were another disaster. They marketed a “king bed” but it was actually two cheap flimsy single beds pushed together that kept separating all night. Extremely uncomfortable and cheap.What made the experience even worse was the completely understaffed and poorly managed service. There was literally ONE person handling breakfast orders, serving food, managing guests, and running around everywhere. The breakfast itself was pathetic. For the kind of money they charge, you expect at least a decent breakfast spread. Instead, someone comes to your table and lists 3 dishes you can choose from — THAT’S IT. No buffet, no variety, nothing. And to top it off, the food was tasteless and even the curd they served was sour… just like our entire experience at this property.Shockingly, there also seemed to be only ONE person at reception who was also cleaning rooms and changing bedsheets. No wonder the place is filthy and service is painfully slow.And now comes the most ridiculous part — THERE ARE NO CEILING FANS IN ANY OF THE ROOMS. Can you imagine? No ceiling fans at all. It genuinely feels like the owner thinks they’ve built some luxury property in Europe where fans aren’t needed. The first room they gave us had a non-working AC and no fan, making the room unbearable. After repeatedly complaining, they shifted us to another equally pathetic room which thankfully at least had a standing fan.This property is nothing like what they show online. It is poorly maintained, unhygienic, understaffed, overpriced, and honestly one of the worst stays we’ve experienced. Complete waste of money and time.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

I would recommend this place.Despite reading lots of negative reviews I took a bold step to book the room in this establishment and it was worth it.Great Hill view on entrance.Yes Rooms are old but well maintained.This place has a vibe , full of greenary. Room has their own character.AC was working well hence room was chilled.PEACEFUL+ HAPPY ME TIME.Huge place - enjoyed walking.It has huge pool and it can be used, with 5.5 foot deep and 4.5 foot on other side.Restaurant:- Food is very costly, huge cost, too much - I won't recommend.Rest complimentary buffet was great and lot of options, restaurant service is slow and unprofessional.Overall No professional uniform for staff!Staff at reception namely Mr. Khan was very co-operative and kind person.Overall nice and peaceful experience!

it was horrible stay at this property, hygiene, cleanliness, food, rooms linens, so many moscutes and ants in the room. so not even worth for 2000 rs per night. same price i was getting Hyatt and even taj… so overall it was pethantic experience

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience needs to be shared so others don’t waste their money.The only positive I can mention is that the staff was polite and courteous — full credit to them. Unfortunately, that’s where the good part ends.The rooms are in a terrible condition. Poorly maintained, unclean, and clearly neglected for a long time. The bathroom was especially disappointing — the bathtub and WC had visible stains, as if they hadn’t been properly cleaned in weeks. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches in the room, which is completely unacceptable for any property claiming to be a star resort.The kids’ play area is practically useless. Broken, dirty, and clearly not maintained for years. There’s nothing meaningful for children to enjoy, making it a big letdown for families.Now coming to the food — extremely overpriced and shockingly bad in quality. Since outside food is not allowed, you’re forced to order from them, and it feels like a trap. The chicken lollipop was over-fried and burnt, with no proper coating. The paneer chilli was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Paying 1534 for such poor-quality food (including basic items like eggs and masala papad) is simply not justified.Breakfast was equally disappointing. I was served stale idlis that were clearly refrigerated and reheated in a microwave. When questioned, the staff tried to pass it off as “fresh,” which was quite frustrating. The sambhar had burnt taste which was reaheated in steel pot. It didn’t feel like there was any proper kitchen supervision or chef presence.The overall property condition is also poor — dimly light corridors at night, rusty and neglected outdoor areas, and a general lack of upkeep everywhere you look.Final verdict: Completely not worth the money. Don’t be misled by online photos — they don’t reflect the current reality at all. If you’re considering staying here, I strongly recommend visiting the property in person first and checking the rooms, restaurant, and facilities before making any booking.I would not recommend this place to anyone.
