The Meadows Resort & Spa, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India

The location of Meadows Resort & Spa is excellent. It is situated in a very peaceful environment, far from the city's crowd, which gives a very relaxing vibe. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise—they had a great variety ranging from Continental to South Indian and North Indian, and the taste was really good. The swimming pool was also decent and well-maintained (the water might feel slightly dusty due to the natural, open surroundings, but it was perfectly fine).However, I faced major maintenance and hygiene issues during my stay. (Please note: These issues were specific to the room I was allotted, and I am not sure about the condition of the other rooms in the property).Cons (Based on my room):Poor Hygiene & Old Room: The room felt very old. The furniture (chairs and sofas) was worn out and felt unhygienic to use.Washroom: Even though it was cleaned, the bathroom was so old that it gave off a very dirty and unhygienic vibe.Broken Locks: The door lock was literally broken. It was very difficult to properly close, lock, or unlock the door.AC & Ventilation: There was no ceiling fan. The AC was stuck at one temperature which couldn't be adjusted, making the room freezing cold at times.Outdoor Maintenance: Apart from the pool, the general outdoor property area felt poorly maintained and dirty.Conclusion: Great location and good food, but my room urgently needed a massive renovation.

The outdoor lawns are expansive and green, the food is genuinely tasty, and the staff is polite and accommodating. However, the rooms do not reflect the outdoors at all.We had to switch rooms immediately upon check-in due to broken door handles, stained bedding, broken taps, and dirty bathrooms. Even the second room had poorly cleaned, unhygienic bathrooms (photos attached).Basic amenities were missing: No room intercom to call front desk/dining Non-functional TV and patchy Wi-Fi Murky swimming pool (cleaned only on request) No menus or basic hotel information providedPrior to booking, management brushed off mixed reviews over the phone, assuring us the rooms were spotless. At 7,500/night, the lack of cleanliness and basic maintenance was deeply disappointing. Definitely not worth the price tag until they renovate.

I recently stayed at Meadows in Sambhajinagar on September 12th and it was the worst experience I've ever had. I strongly advise against staying there because the management is dishonest and will make you regret your decision. The rooms are musty, smelly, infested with insects, and even the two best category rooms I booked had no hot water. The owner, Ms. Anjali, is very unprofessional; she promised a refund for the inconvenience but stopped answering our calls as soon as we checked out. I hope no one else has to go through this. As a hotelier myself, you can trust my feedback.

The Meadows Resort was a complete nightmare. The rooms were extremely dirty, with paint peeling off and linens that smelled terrible. Bugs were everywhere. There was no service; the staff ignored our requests for clean towels and brushed off our complaints. They gave us false promises and poor guidance about cancellations. Stay away from this hotel.

Worst hotel experience of my life — completely misleading photos!The Meadows Resort and Spa is an old, poorly maintained property. The rooms were dirty, with peeling paint, stained cupboards, filthy washrooms, and foul-smelling bedsheets, blankets, and towels. We found ants and insects on the floors and beds. The bathrooms and bathtubs were in terrible condition.We checked four rooms—***, and ***—and none were acceptable. We couldn't stay even for a few hours.Staff failed to provide fresh towels despite repeated requests. When we complained, we were told to adjust for the night and promised an upgrade the next morning. When we requested cancellation for the following night, they simply told us to contact Agoda.Do not trust the photos. Based on my experience, avoid this property unless you want to waste your money.
