A Royal Heritage Stay in the Heart of Shimla - Highly Recommended!Had a wonderful 2-day stay at Woodsvilla Palace, Shimla. It's a beautifully maintained heritage property owned by the royalty of Jubbal, and you can feel the royal charm in every corner.The property is huge, very elegant and extremely well-maintained. Our room was cozy, neat, clean and very comfortable.Location is perfect - Mall Road is just a 15-20 minute pleasant walk away.What I loved the most:1. The lush green play area for kids - perfect for families.2. The authentic heritage cafe inside the property - a MUST visit! Food is absolutely amazing.Hospitality and service are top-notch. The staff is very courteous and helpful.I would highly recommend Woodsvilla Palace for both families and couples looking for a peaceful, heritage stay in Shimla.

Had an amazing stay at Woodville Palace Shimla.. The heritage architecture peaceful surroundings, and breathtaking views make this place truly special. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, while the staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was delicious with a good variety, and the location is perfect’close to Mall Road yet away from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a blend of royal charm, comfort, and excellent hospitality, I highly recommend this hotel. Looking forward to visiting again!

We had booked our room at Woods Villa Hotel without breakfast. When we checked in, the staff informed us that if we wanted the breakfast buffet, we could add it for ’700 plus taxes. However, they never mentioned that this charge was per person.At the time of checkout, we were surprised to find that we were charged ’700 plus taxes for each person, instead of ’700 per room. The staff then told us that if we had booked through MakeMyTrip, it would have been charged per room, but since we booked directly with the hotel, it was charged per person.This important pricing detail should have been clearly communicated to us before we agreed to take the breakfast. We feel this lack of transparency was misleading and left us disappointed. Hotels should disclose all applicable charges upfront so that guests can make an informed decision.
