I stayed in this hotel for 3 days when came to Kolkata for Pedicon.Overall an average stay.We had booked our stay (deluxe queen) through MMT well in advance. However staff wasn't aware. So we were then given a suite room. Though we got a larger room, we were disappointed with the condition of the room. The floor was damp, and covered with dust ( appeared as if wasn't cleaned for somedays). After walking for sometime barefeet in the room our sole would turn black with dirt.The walls need renovation. Breakfast options were limited and taste was average. Needs improvement.However, overall other room facilities were good, staff was polite and ready to help. Security person at the entrance was also prompt at his work.It's a well built hotel, offering most amenities. Only requires renovation of rooms, and needs to sort the problem of dampness, and staff needs training to manage the bookings.

Please Dont opt for staying in this hotel in Kolkata. I am a Pediatrician and have come to Kolkata to attend IAP NATIONAL CONFERENCE PEDICON.I booked this hotel through Agoda good days before my travel but on the day I arrived here, staff were blank with the knowledge of my bookings ! No registration of my name . Reason given was that they missed the mail from Agoda. I don't understand what the hell of business they are doing if they dont even read communication from their partners. They didn't have room for me and lodge me in a sidee sticking room.This was not enough! Staff comes to drop me to rokm and gives me a domy card to fit in slot for lights to work and politely said this card will not open the door lock. Every time I go out of my room ,post it I was supposed to go to reception to ask for a helper to come and open the door with his master key! WORLDS FIRST HOTEL WITH THIS MANNERISM! ERRATIC AND SEVERLY POOR MANAGEMENT..NOT ONLY THIS! I AM UPLOADING THE PICTURE OF BED SIDE WALL IN THE ROOM. PATHETIC .SIMPLY PATHETIC. Smelling room.More over inside room there is a store which management operates. Funniest! Thankfully during my stay none came to operate it.When I was complaining the inconvenience of NO KEY TO CUSTOMER , they handed over me an old fashion manual key which did not work at !To my surprise person alloted room next to me was also stuggl8ng to stay in this shotel with the same issue!PLEASE FIND OTHER GOOD PLACES NEARBY IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN COMFORT!Will write review of food tomorrow when I try breakfast.

1. The rooms & the complete hotel are full of damp. ’ To cover up they have put wallpapers all around but can’t control the smell of course. The room was so dirty and full of dust. Photos shared(For this reason they changed our room that was with wallpaper so that the damp is not visible, but smell was super high) -Photos shared2. The Entire lobby kept smelling cigarette smoke and even after complaining there was no action.3. The drapery was in a very bad shape, not a smooth scroll at all.?? Photos shared4. Bedding- It is a typical spring bedding, very hard and super uncomfortable ’ cant explain the level of discomfort.5. They provided only one towel because??the clean towel was stocked out. The one towel they gave. Please see the picture.6. Bathroom: The liquid soap case was all coming out ’ attached is the video for the same.7. The Staff: ??They are not concerned about the food or the service, not sure what they were busy with.8. Will share 2 incidents about the staff.one drinking water glass fell on the table with my hands. The staff immediately checked & said ’thank God Tuta ni’ ’ I thought the world would have stopped if the glass would have broken.Another : I order Fried rice in my lunch and the staff immediately asked will you take in your buffet packaged. (1700+ , they wanted to charge for one fried rice ’’ ’’ )9. The Food: Dinner buffet was 1700+, they provided only one veg/Nonveg starter, one veg/non veg main course, steamed rice, dal & one sweet (I think they thought it’s a joke)(1700/- Buffet in Radisson/Marriott has so many items ..)Nobody came to clean the room , after asking they came at tortoise speed.10. Wi -FI - If you are coming to this hotel and planning to work plz drop your plan as the wi-fi keeps disconnecting every 10 mins and after a certain time it will stop working, I gave a complaint for this as well but nobody even reacted - as if it was not at all an issue.I can understand that if a hotel has so many other major issues like damp & broken stuffs , wi-fi must be like not at all a problem.Overall, a very hopeless stay in this hotel and I have never seen such an overpriced hotel ever.Not at all recommend for anyone.My humble request is to either exclude this hotel from MMT list or they should not charge more than 2500/ day
