I recently had breakfast at Ariya Nivaas, Thampanoor, and tried the ghee roast. It was okay—not bad but nothing special. The service was good and the staff were quick. The ambience is average, with no air conditioning and a simple dining area. It doesn't feel like a premium place to justify the prices. My main issue is the cost. Compared to other vegetarian spots in Trivandrum, this place is quite expensive. For instance, a vada is ₹33 + GST, tea is ₹33 + GST, and the ghee roast is ₹147 + taxes. These prices seem high given the food quality and setting. Overall, it's fine for a quick meal, but the value for money is lacking. The food and atmosphere don't match the high prices. I hope the management either upgrades the experience or lowers the prices to be fairer.
