The room was very decent, comfortable. Breakfast was like home made and very tasty. Staff was welcoming and polite especially the guard in the night shift and the reception staff in the night shift. Check in was fine and done in express way
My time at Hotel Dhruva Inn was unforgettable, but unfortunately for negative reasons. Even though my booking was corporate, the staff kept demanding advance payment for the room. At one point, a staff member declined my request to extend my stay without upfront payment, without fully hearing me out. The billing process was also frustrating. The hotel couldn't provide an invoice matching the amount paid through our company portal and instead gave a bill after subtracting the agency's commission. They also couldn't issue a bill for food at their rooftop lounge, saying it was already paid. Their persistent demand for advance payments makes me wonder if past guests, after their experience, chose not to pay at all. Nonetheless, I am thankful I managed to stay five nights—though only after paying upfront.
