We stayed for 4 nights. There was a lot of problems, firstly the tv was not working which is a rare instance this days, secondly the room wasn't cleaned before we arrived, there was a lot of dust, also the exhaust fan in the bathroom wasnt working either, we told them to fix it, but they didnt do it, also the hotel offers cae trip to Agra but it costs 8 thousand rupee which we felt was overpriced. They couldn't provide us proper break. Apart from these, the room has 2 double beds which is suitable for 4 adults staying in one room. Other than that, we couldn't find much positive stuff in our experience at Hindustan by Backpackers Heaven.
I recently stayed at Hindustan by Bag Packers Heaven, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.The property is located in the Paharganj area of Delhi, which is extremely crowded and congested. I was traveling with my parents and young children, so comfort and safety were very important for us. However, the room allocated to us was on the first floor and road-facing, which turned out to be a major issue.After a long and tiring journey, we were hoping to get some rest, but there was a loud party happening right outside the hotel on the street. The music was extremely loud and continued late into the night, making it almost impossible for us to sleep.The next evening, the situation felt even more uncomfortable. There were people drinking right at the hotel entrance, and at one point, they even banged into our taxi. Thankfully, it didn’t escalate, but it was quite scary—especially with young kids and elderly parents with me.To add to the discomfort, the bathroom had a very strong sewage-like smell, which made it unpleasant to use.The hotel also advertises a good breakfast, but in reality, the options were very limited—just tea/coffee, bread toast with butter and jam, and cornflakes. Nothing beyond that.Overall, this stay was far from comfortable, and I would not recommend it, especially for families traveling with children or elderly members.
