Hotel City Tower

I regret trusting the reviews on Booking.com as they seem to be selectively positive. I was very let down by City Tower Hotel's lack of basic services. Our room had mold and a strong cigarette odor. The bed was worn out with a sagging middle. This hotel does not deserve a 4-star rating and is not suitable for families. The environment is not family-friendly either, with clubs on the premises contributing to a negative atmosphere. There is no service elevator, so guests have to share the main elevator with large cleaning equipment and food carts. The so-called "indoor pool" was actually not indoors, small, and poorly maintained. Additionally, the reception promised to call me back to arrange a date change but never did, and they also ignore messages sent via Booking.com's system.

When I requested a massage, they said it's something I need, not them, and laughed. Poor service.

Things were okay at first, but the management doesn't seem to value guests who stay long-term. The place is quite chaotic, with many employees appearing to work unwillingly. Sadly, I had to leave the hotel after encountering several unpleasant surprises when it became busy during the holidays. Attempts to contact the general manager were blocked by other managers, likely for a reason. I tried again today, but with the general manager absent, the situation has deteriorated even more. It's very hands-off.
