Solo Traveller • India • Aug 2026I really don’t like this hotel they are not providing anything, pillows are very dirty and smell like garbage, bedsheets are dirty, many cockroaches in the room and bathroom, very bad experience what I paid isn’t worth, they don’t have parking, they don’t have hot water , rooms are very small you can’t even walk , bathroom also no amenities staff also rude, they don’t knock the door directly come inside, overall very bad very bad badddd ….

I enjoyed a very nice stay at Hotel Golden Palace near Charni Road. I reached out to the hotel before booking and chose it based on the online photos. I'm pleased to report that the room matched the pictures exactly. The rooms are tidy, cozy, and well-kept, making me feel very comfortable during my visit. The hotel also offers a safe and secure atmosphere, so I had no safety worries. Another big plus is the location, with many nearby options for meals and breakfast, and Charni Road Railway Station just a short walk away. Marine Drive is also nearby, making it a convenient spot for visitors to Mumbai. In summary, I strongly suggest Hotel Golden Palace for anyone seeking a comfortable, safe, and well-located hotel near Charni Road and Marine Drive.
