Hotel Green Rooms, Vintage Luxury near Dal Lake

Had a very pleasant stay at Green Room, Srinagar. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. In-room heating worked perfectly, which is a big plus in the cold weather.The staff were courteous, attentive, and always willing to help, making the stay smooth and welcoming. The location is also very good, everything was great.Overall, a comfortable stay with good room. Entire staff were very cooperative and hospitality defined the goodness of Kashmir. Stayed here for a few days with family. The hotel is inside the city/residential area, so don’t expect mountain or lake views from the rooms. Rooms are a bit compact compared to typical 4-5 star hotels, but honestly that’s understandable considering the location, and they were clean and comfortable enough for Srinagar standards.The best part was the service , literally anything we asked for, whether food, toiletries or any help, arrived within minutes. Staff was very polite and friendly throughout the stay. Food was also genuinely very good and flavorful. Overall, had a really comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it if you want good hospitality over fancy views.

I stayed at Hotel Green Rooms, located near Dal Lake, Srinagar, from 7th May to 11th May, and my experience was excellent throughout the stay. The hospitality was truly amazing, and every staff member was extremely supportive, polite, and attentive.The food quality was superb, especially the breakfast, which was delicious and well prepared every day. The people serving the food were very courteous and made the experience even better.What impressed me the most was the quick service. Whatever we needed was arranged promptly, and the staff always ensured we were comfortable. The overall hospitality and customer support were outstanding.I genuinely wanted to give more than 5 stars, but unfortunately that’s the maximum allowed.
