Hotel O City Palace

Very disappointing experience. The hotel service was completely unprofessional. On the OYO app, the room price was showing ’800, and before reaching the hotel, I even called the hotel directly through the number available on the app to confirm the booking and check-in. They clearly said that check-in would be done without any issue since my booking was confirmed.But when I reached the hotel after taking a cab from the bus stand, the staff suddenly demanded ’1400 instead of ’800. When I told them that the OYO app was showing ’800 and I had already confirmed on call, they rudely replied that the conversation was not with them and either I had to pay ’1400 or no room would be provided.Because of this, I had to wander around and search for another hotel at the last moment, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Staff behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. They do not honor the prices shown on the OYO app and instead demand extra money from customers.I would strongly recommend everyone to avoid booking this hotel.

Avoid at All Costs ’ A Nightmare Experience !I had the absolute worst check-in experience of my life at Hotel O City Palace from 9th to 12th April 2026. I booked a 3-day stay via Goibibo, which included all meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) for ’1100. Despite paying in full in advance, the manager denied me entry when reached at 9 PM, claiming there was "no water," even though I watched other guests being checked in. They eventually admitted they simply didn't like the low booking rate and demanded more money. It took hours of arguments, multiple calls to Goibibo, and eventually involving the local police before they would honor the booking. To make matters worse, the "all meals" facility was a total lie’they provide no food at all. The owner and staff are extremely unprofessional and aggressive, and I witnessed four other groups, including families, facing similar harassment over rates during my stay.Disgusting Rooms and Zero Facilities !The room conditions were a far cry from the photos online. The space was shabby, the toilets were uncleaned, there was active water leakage, and I even found leftover food packets from previous guests. The most ridiculous part is that the reception controls the utilities; they switched off the AC at 5 AM every morning to save electricity and refused to provide a remote for temperature control. AC switched off completely during day time. I was even told I had to choose between using the AC or the Geyser’you cannot use both! This place is run by people who seem more interested in cheating customers than providing a service. Whether you are a bachelor, a solo traveler, or with family, stay away from this hotel. It is a complete scam and 100% not recommended.
