For the offered price, Room size and washrooms are ok. But Air conditioning isn't functioning well, Roaches and Mosquitoes issue exists. It is ok for a single day stay for the offered price. btw lady sitting at Reception is bit harsh
It was raining when I reached the hotel. The front desk person (a lady) insisted that the hotel was Mini Escape and not Super Hotel O Perungalathur… She said that they have no tie-up or partnership with either Oyo or ixigo. I was so totally confused. She was pretty rude. So I stayed on wanting to check with customer care of ixigo. The moment I clicked the link, it showed the front of the hotel Mini Escape which I showed her. It was only after that she asked me about the booking id… When I clarified that my name was Angel, she was trying to give some vague explanation. Then again, she came up and said, sorry the booking is made on the name of Angel David and not just plain Angel. Then I too said that my name indeed is the said name and showed my ID. She was clearly embarrassed and gave further explanations which I was not heeding anyways. My impression was lost at the very reception counter. Otherwise, the room was clean, the ambience of the room good, the other staff polite and cordial. The stay was comfortable. Suggestion to ixigo: Kindly match the present name of the hotel in the advertisements. Or at least mention that this hotel was called Hotel O Perungalathur. I was alone when I checked in, hence was distressed. When someone comes to the front desk, claiming booking, the first thing to do is to receive politely and check for the booking ID to confirm instead of slighting the guest or anyone who had even come there by mistake… That initial rudeness makes everything connected with it sour.
