Hotel Temple View

We came as a group of 9 people including 1 child and had booked rooms nearly 2 weeks ahead. We specifically requested 4 double rooms with an extra bed in one room. Upon arrival, we were told all 4 rooms would have extra beds. However, the rooms were very small and cramped. We asked to change rooms and after much discussion, it was arranged. Then we found out two rooms had Indian-style bathrooms, which was a problem for our 4 senior citizens. Eventually, they managed to switch those rooms as well. This all happened despite booking early and confirming by phone before our trip. Also, the bedspread and pillowcases are not cotton; they feel rough and uncomfortable, especially in the humid weather as they irritate the skin.

The staff were supportive. The rooms are somewhat worn but functional. Conveniently located within walking distance to the Meenakshi temple.
