Disappointing Stay Experience

Very unhappy with the stay. Booked through Agoda, and parking was a big issue—narrow underground with a steep 45-degree slope. Reception had no air conditioning and took 10-15 minutes to find the booking details. The first floor room was not cleaned, so had to wait for cleaning. Then moved to a second-floor room which was better but the floor and bathroom were sticky, smelled of cleaning chemicals, and the bathroom was very slippery. Towels were old and stained. The hotel's location is poor, surrounded by hardware shops and lacking hygiene. This was my first time in Madurai; the city feels very crowded and unclean.
