I reserved this place for three people, including a small baby, hoping for a comfortable stay, but the experience was very disappointing. The property is basically a regular home, not a proper hotel or guesthouse, and the room was much smaller than I expected. With three adults and an infant, the limited space made it quite uncomfortable. The woman managing the place was very rude and unwelcoming from the start, and she imposed unnecessary restrictions. I was told to park far from the property, which was inconvenient with a baby. We had to remove our shoes outside the entrance, even the infant. Whenever I asked for something or raised concerns, the replies were negative instead of helpful. There were no complimentary water bottles or basic toiletries like soap or dental kits. The place lacked almost all basic amenities I would expect from a hotel or guesthouse. Also, we were repeatedly asked to hand over the room keys whenever we went out, and the room was apparently checked each time. We were constantly reminded about the keys and checkout, which made us feel monitored rather than welcomed. For a family with a small child, I expected basic hospitality, cleanliness, privacy, and a friendly attitude, none of which we found here. I would not recommend this property, especially for families with children or infants. Please think carefully about the facilities, rules, parking, and management before booking.

With three people and an infant, the limited space made the stay quite uncomfortable.The behaviour of the lady managing the property was another major issue. From the moment we arrived, her attitude was very rude, unwelcoming, and unnecessarily restrictive.- First, I was asked to park my vehicle far away from the property, which was inconvenient, especially while travelling with an infant.- We were then told to remove our slippers/shoes outside the main entrance. What made this particularly uncomfortable was that even the infant was expected to follow the same rule.- Whenever I asked for anything or raised a concern, the response was generally negative rather than helpful.- No complimentary water bottles were provided.- There was no soap, dental kit, or other basic toiletries.- Overall, the property had almost zero basic amenities that I would normally expect from accommodation advertised as a hotel/guesthouse.Another particularly uncomfortable aspect was the repeated behaviour regarding the room keys. Whenever we went out, we were asked to hand over the keys, after which the room would apparently be checked. Throughout the stay, we were repeatedly reminded to provide the key and were asked about checkout. This made us feel uncomfortable and as though we were constantly being monitored rather than treated like guests.For a family travelling with a small child, I would expect basic hospitality, cleanliness, privacy, and a welcoming attitude. Unfortunately, we did not experience that here.Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property, especially for families with children or infants. Please carefully consider the facilities, rules, parking situation, and management's approach before booking.

Our time at Royal Stay Vintage in Gandhi Nagar, Madurai was unforgettable. From the moment we entered, the charming vintage decor took us back in time. Every detail, from the traditional furnishings to the inviting atmosphere, evoked a lovely sense of nostalgia and the comfort of home. The tranquil environment made it an ideal spot to unwind after a tiring day. The rooms were clean, cozy, and carefully kept, enhancing our experience. What impressed us most was the homely vibe of the place—it felt less like a typical hotel and more like a true retreat. For those who enjoy vintage style, a warm atmosphere, and friendly service, Royal Stay Vintage is definitely a place to try. We are eager to return.
