Stayed here for one night on a Friday, and overall it was a comfortable, no-nonsense stay for the price. I contacted them directly by phone and also checked Agoda. Agoda ended up slightly cheaper thanks to a coupon, so it's worth checking both before you book and picking the cheaper option. On that note, we got the last available room since it was a Friday, so if you're travelling on a weekend, book a few days ahead.Check-in was smooth and quick. They took my ID, made a photocopy, and handed it right back. Since I'd already paid through Agoda, no extra deposit was asked. The room was clean and ready on arrival, including the bathroom, though the sink's waste outlet was broken, so water pooled near your feet while using it. Worth the property fixing this.Room itself: bed and pillows were comfortable, and even though it was a non-AC room, it stayed reasonably cool through July, only getting slightly warm later at night. Ventilation was good, no real view to speak of, but that wasn't a dealbreaker. Water pressure was fine; didn't test the heater. Wi-Fi was reliable, TV worked fine with dish connection, and toiletries were generously stocked with toothbrush, paste, soap, and shampoo all provided.We did experience a power outage during our stay. Backup power kicked in, but with about a minute's delay before it came back on. Parking was ample and there's an elevator too, a nice touch for a budget-friendly place.Staff were courteous throughout. Front desk was responsive, housekeeping was prompt, and there were no language barrier issues. No breakfast included, but there are decent food options nearby. One caveat on the area though: it has a few bars around, and the general environment outside can feel a bit unwelcoming for women after dark. This is about the neighborhood, not the property itself.Location wise, it's a 10 minute walk to Meenakshi Temple, and noise from outside barely reached inside the room. Autos and cabs are available right outside, but be prepared: drivers in Madurai often demand inflated fares when booked on the spot, which can cause delays.Pricing was transparent, with no hidden GST surprises or extra charges tacked on, and honestly good value for what you get.Bottom line: Great pick for solo male travelers, families, business trips, and mid-budget backpackers. Solo women travelers should just be a bit cautious with the surrounding area at night, not a reflection of the property's safety, but the neighborhood itself.

There is an extra amount ( Rs 250/hour) you have to pay for early check which was not mentioned while I called them to confirm my booking and mentioned about my early check in. They said there was no room available and then when I said okay I'll pay the extra amount, they gave us the booked room. Apparently the person I spoke to, didn't tell the reception team about my early check in, so there was communication gap from their end for which we ended up waiting for them to clear. Just make sure of this while you book. The room and service is okay.
