Criston Home stay

The room was clean and roomy. However, the path to the homestay is quite narrow and gets very dark at night. The owner always turns off the AC during the day in summer. She charges an additional 200 per person for using the shed room to store luggage. The shed room was messy with open windows all around for ventilation. It would be better if guests could manage the amenities themselves. The extra fee for online payment could be avoided. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

The location was peaceful, tidy, and properly kept. The owner was extremely kind and hospitable, enhancing the overall experience. Certainly a good value for the price.

I stayed for one day and had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I didn't encounter any problems during my stay. Since it's located on the rooftop, you have access to the entire balcony, which is very relaxing and nicely decorated. The location is easy to reach via Rapido or Uber, and Swiggy/Zomato delivery is available there as well. However, the stairs are quite steep, so anyone with knee or leg issues might want to reconsider. When I checked in with luggage, they offered to let me use their home to avoid the stairs, which I appreciated.

The view is excellent, transportation is convenient, and the price is quite affordable. However, the biggest issue is the poor condition of the room, particularly the bathrooms. If these issues were addressed, it could be a nice place. The most serious problem was the abundance of bed bugs in the room, which ruined my sleep completely.

A charming small Homestay managed by a wonderful family! We stayed just one night, but the hosts assisted us in arranging a taxi to the airport since Uber wasn't an option.
