Extremely disappointing experience.I booked a room through Agoda well in advance and even called the hotel on the day of my arrival to inform them that I would be reaching around 10:30 PM. The receptionist confirmed my booking and told me, “Yes sir, you come.”However, when I arrived at around 11:00 PM, I was shocked to be told that my room had been cancelled. The hotel claimed they had informed Agoda, but neither the hotel nor Agoda contacted me before my arrival. If the booking had really been cancelled, why did the receptionist confirm my reservation just a short while earlier?It felt like the hotel sold my confirmed room to someone willing to pay more and left me stranded late at night with no accommodation. Being left without a room at 11 PM after a long journey was extremely stressful and unacceptable.This shows a complete lack of professionalism, poor communication, and no respect for customers with confirmed bookings. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking this hotel, especially through online platforms. A confirmed reservation should be honored, not cancelled without informing the guest.
Good rooms and service, all necessities provided, good location. Just a couple of points to improve upon: Bathroom, particularly the bath area, could be more clean. In our case it was a bit slippery. Also water pressure in taps/faucets/shower could be less, it is unnecessarily too much, wasting it. It even causes inconvenience for the toilet faucet. The bars in the bathroom for keeping towel and clothes are above the toilet seat. Should rather be in the bath area.
