Sea View Varkala Beach Resort

Certainly the room with the finest view on Varkala cliff

Just to inform: The room was average, maintenance was terrible, and service was poor. The resort has street dogs that sit right outside your room and bark, and only then does the guard come to shoo them away. They manage six properties but have only one person handling TV issues. Our TV wouldn't turn on and it took hours before they replaced it. The towels felt like mops. They offer wifi but it doesn't work. No kettle provided and basic toiletries were missing. The location is good, but lacking essentials ruined the experience and mood. Won't be returning—they are unprofessional!

I really enjoyed my stay at this beach resort. The setting is stunning, and the proximity to the beach enhanced the entire experience. The calm environment, clean air, and soothing vibe were just what I was looking for. All in all, it was a wonderful visit and I would love to return again ❤️

The resort is conveniently situated on North Cliff, about 500 meters from Black Beach Resort. It sits right on the edge of the cliff, so rooms offer views of the open sea, but you can't see the beach at the bottom of the cliff from the rooms. The rooms are acceptable, though cleaning could be more consistently thorough. During our two-day stay, they didn't repair the entry door lights. Room service was adequate. The restaurant is excellent, offering stunning views and good service. The food tastes good, especially the continental, BBQ, and Chinese dishes. I would advise against ordering Mughlai dishes like Mughlai or gravies, as they might not meet even modest expectations.

Had a very bad time at both Raja Park Beach Resort and Clafouti Beach Resort, which are managed by the same team. My tourists stayed at Raja Park Beach Resort, which was a complete mess. The cleaning was poor, service was nonexistent, and the room phones didn't work. The worst part was no staff at the reception during the night, so in case of emergency, there was no one to contact. I can't understand how they keep this place running. Since Raja Park lacks a restaurant, we went to Clafouti Beach Resort for meals. The food was good, but the management and staff's attitude was unacceptable. Surprisingly, they asked me to pay a parking fee! Charging a driver whose guests stay at their property and eat at their restaurant is absurd and shows very poor hospitality. It feels like drivers are disrespected and ignored. The management is very greedy and doesn't care about customer service. I strongly advise other drivers and tourists to avoid these places and be cautious of their unfair rules.
