It is a Taj and yes they make you feel it.. Great stay... amazing breakfast... very clean... staff - very friendly
We stayed at Taj Swarna, Amritsar for four nights in April 2026, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. That includes the communications a few weeks prior to our arrival with the reservations team whilst we were still in the UK. They were very responsive and super helpful.After the chaos of the streets of Amritsar, stepping into the hotel felt like a breath of fresh air. Calm, luxurious, and beautifully run.What truly stood out was the service and communication. We had several specific requests before arrival, all handled with professionalism and care.A special thank‑you to ***, who showed incredible discretion and empathy by allowing us to cancel a second room on the day of arrival due to unforeseen circumstances, something he did not have to do, but which meant a great deal to us.We stayed on an Executive Club package, and the room was immaculate. The Executive Lounge service was exceptional, largely thanks to ***, who went above and beyond every day and is a real asset to the hotel.Food was excellent overall, especially Indian cuisine (as expected). Minor issues were handled with grace, including a personal apology from the chef. Cocktails at The Peg were consistently fantastic.Superb location, peaceful yet close to everything.We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend Taj Swarna for anyone seeking luxury and thoughtful service in Amritsar.
