The Artist House - A Luxury Boutique Hotel

The hotel service was good I am satisfied with the staff service

Coming from Mumbai, where everything is fast-paced, our visit to Rootage felt like a welcome slow-down. The service might feel a bit slower compared to city standards, but it’s a refreshing change. The ambiance is spacious, cozy, and ideal for spending quality time with friends or family. The food is fantastic, with a great variety of dishes, all rich in flavor and well-prepared. The staff is kind and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. It offers a pure veg multi-cuisine fine dining experience, showcasing Udaipur’s local flavors along with other regional and global dishes. Parking is convenient, with a dedicated four-wheeler parking lot and helpful assistance. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a leisurely meal in Udaipur.

We stayed at The Artist House, Udaipur recently. While the ambience and location are genuinely attractive — especially the artistic décor and the café/lounge setup — the overall experience was mixed due to poor upkeep and facilities. What we liked:•Unique, artsy interiors and vibrant setting•The café/bar area has a great vibe•Some of the staff were courteous and helpfulWhat needs work:•Rooms were not as shown in the photos — ours was small and not well-maintained•Facilities like hot water, TV, and basic cleanliness were inconsistent. Even the door lock was improperly attached.•Loud music from the lounge/bar at night made it hard to sleep•Some staff were unresponsive when we raised concerns

Restaurant having lot of rats and on complaint they tell very unprofessional attitude "ki kya kar sakte hai" ekdum chutiya vibes here. Lot of unhygienic condition. Nar is joke they have menu but more then 90% items not available. Most paid reviews avoid this place.

I am a huge fan of this place because of the quality & taste, although in my last visit the service was not at par. There could be a management change, hopeful that things remain the same. As if someone is looking for a good place to eat in Udaipur, it tops the charts.
